From these essays, discuss the ways they do (or do not) educate, or conform to, your developing understanding of the nature of travel writing. Consider such questions as these (they are suggested issues to consider; you may shape your essay around different themes): How do (or dont) the essays qualify to be considered travel writing? How do the authors see with the minds eye in ways that allow a reader to imagine that s/he is actually visiting their scenes? Early in the course we observed that travel writing expresses a wide range of intentions and experiences, and that though not all of it is profound, all of it is about finding and finding out. How do these last essays demonstrate those ideas?
