How important are social media channels in determining destination choice

The objective of the research proposal is to find out the potentials of social media marketing in the con- cept of tourism and travelling, and to investigate what kind of effects Instagram has on consumers’ travel behaviour. The aim is also to help destination marketing organizations, DMOs, and other tourism service providers to develop their online marketing strategies, find out if it would be beneficial to take advantage of Instagram and user generated con- tent, and thus reach potential customers. We can use Instagram , YouTube and determine cause and effect on users. Also we need to figure out theory to be used to explore and identify a gap in this research. I will attach examples along with the research proposal questions to be answered. We require at least 60 Harvard style referencing academic journal articles.
