Journalism: Its Scope and Use

Choose a chapter of the book titled, “Mightier than the sword” by Rodger Streitmatter’s and write an essay of approximately 1000-1250 words (4 pages). Your task in this essay is to find at least two long or three short sources, and write about how these sources give more depth to your understanding of history and journalism. You may choose either primary or secondary sources for your essay. Try to make your essay as coherent as possible, though you are welcome to divide it into subsections with subheadings. You must cite “Mightier than the sword” and your other two or three sources. Think of this as a compare/contrast essay. Compare and contrast the different views of history. provide a work cited page in proper MLA style, and cite your references in the text.
