Final Paper is organized differently. It will be a 12 page paper due at the end of the semester. The Final paper must be according to MLA guidelines. Pick one subject of anything we talked about in the class. It must include: 1) 1 cover page; 2) At least 10 pages in the main body covering the subject you chose to write about and 3) 1 page for your Bibliography. Content of Final Paper: 1. Title Page (1 Page): The title page should be clearly stated, include the course title, the professor’s name, the date submitted, and your name. 2. Table of Contents: Not necessary, but you may insert an extra page if you choose to outline. It will not be counted as the body of the paper. It will be good for extra credit 3. Introduction – Main Idea (1st page in main body): This page should gain the reader’s attention and introduce the main idea. Summarize the main idea, showing how the main idea unfolds. 4. Content (next 8 pages in main body): This represent the body of your paper and the heart of your main idea and/or subject matter. You should let the main points of your outline function as headings and subheadings. You should consult and cite at least four to five sources. The books for the class can be part of your bibliography. 5. Conclusion / Application (1-2 pages at end of main body): Discuss several applications of your subject as to how it applies to contemporary audiences. Be as practical and realistic as you can. 6. Bibliography: (last page) Present a formal bibliography of the sources you cite. A minimum of four resources other than the text book and the Bible must be used to write your paper. Wikipedia is not always accurate and therefore can be one of the resources if accurate. You must use books (or articles) from a school library or from your personal library.
