The Benefits of the Next Generation of Space Technology

I was thinking about doing my research paper on if continued space exploration is beneficial enough to warrant spending millions of dollars and using valuable resources. I am considering this topic because of the recent success of a company owned by Elon Musk named SpaceX. A reusable rocket designated the “Dragon” successfully achieved the first reflight of an orbital class rocket and completed a resupply mission representing the first reflight of a commercial spacecraft to and from the International Space Station. These are incredible advancements for space technology and the possible leaps that may come next are just as exciting as a rocket that can be launched and then recovered. Must use the company SpaceX as a primary source to emphasize the benefits of space exploration.
