Then, you will write an essay of at least 4 full pages overall in APA format that answers the following questions in this order: 1) Summarize the chapter you chose and the overall argument presented. What is the most important concept you took away from this chapter? 2) Summarize the newspaper article you selected to coincide with this chapter. What is the most important piece of information you took away from this article? 3) How are the chapter and the article related? How do they speak to one another? How do the concepts discussed in the chapter relate to or influence the article you chose? 4) What do both the chapter and the article say about family institutions, social hierarchies, power, or class?
