Design and create a portfolio which illustrates your career path to date and which captures your career goals and aspirations. Content guidance: • Introduction • Narrative, academically underpinned (referenced) for each piece of evidence. • A time line which charts your career development to date and beyond • A curriculum vitae • A covering letter • SWOT analysis • Skills audit • Identify 5 Internship/career opportunities – supply relevant application information (advertisements, dated) as evidence and illustrates your understanding of the skills need to undertake your chosen career path. • Critically discuss your future career goals • Conclusion • References must be used throughout the portfolio to support each area as listed above. You may wish to include other aspects of career development which you have been exposed to such as Futures awards, individual training and development undertaken at work, certificates and awards attained etc. All such evidence will be assessed as this piece is individual to you and you are unique. The minimum requirement is outlined in the guidance above but you will achieve a higher grade if you go above and beyond the basics.
