Letter to the Editor

The environment is constantly in the news. Pick a news story relating to the environment that interests you. Write a letter to the editor indicating what you feel is the appropriate action for citizens and the government to take in response to this news event. Use your textbook and other resources (internet, newspapers, magazines, scientific journals, etc.) to provide an educated recommendation. Limit your response to 600 words. Include the address or website through which you can submit your letter to the paper of your choice. Please see the grading rubric below for how this assignment will be assessed.
