Theory of mechanisms

I want someone who can explain the entire mechanism theory from a very fundamental basis like if we see every object from watch to automobiles to rockets or anything of the kind the fundamental theory will remain the same.i want it from mechanical eng point like kinematics of machines and not machine learning
